Excitement Abounds!

This is a big deal, so I'm going to say it in bold, capital letters.

STINK PANTS #5 GOT A JOB IN L.A.!

Can you believe it?! Isn't it exciting? He starts work October 10th (I think. I was so excited that I can't remember exactly) for a big movie computer graphics company. I'd say what movies the company has done, but I don't want to. If you want to know, you'll have to email me or Stink Pants directly and we'll tell you all about it.

So, we'll be getting married next August and then I'll be moving out there to be with him :-). It'll be nice and new and exciting and different. The best part is even though we'll be moving to a place that is completely different from any other place we've lived before (we're both from small midwest towns) there will still be friends there to hang out with because Sam and Zappo live there! Hurray!

Not only that! I have a bunch of family that lives on the west coast. Hoochie Momma and the Professor (of course), Tita Ding Ding, and my dad has a brother who lives with his family in San Diego who I haven't seen in almost ten years!

Plus! I still have friends to visit in Seattle, who I have yet to visit (sorry guys. I'll get there though, really!)

So...what does this mean for me? I still have to plan our wedding, and I'm committed to stay in Oregon at least until the end of December. I don't know what to do about the time between then though. We have to meet with the priest in February and start our Catholic marriage classes, but I'm not sure how we can do that when we're across the country from each other. I've already spoken to some friends who have already done the marriage class thing, and the number of classes range from once every two weeks, to once a month, to everything in one weekend retreat.

Well, whatever happens, it'll happen, and I'm ready for the change :-).
