Back in the Quiet of Morning

All the house guests are gone (except me) and life is finally getting back to normal around here. Sometime in the past two weeks, Meow has learned to count to 10. I'll post a video of it when I see it in action. She can even read her numbers. Meow is frickin' 20 months old. I'm going to teach her calculus next.

This morning is the first quiet morning I've had in two weeks. It's just me and Meow, watching tv. She's eating a banana and cheerios right now. The Wiggles are on in five minutes, so she'll be good for the next half an hour.

Oh Nanowrimo, I knew thee well. 4060 words. That's better than last year, but not by much. There's always next year...

I went shopping so much this week, it's crazy. I did get some presents for Mom, Noona and Stink Pants #5, but most of the purchases I made were for clothes for me...because I run around naked all the time...yeah...a bear ate all my old clothes. A fashion-challenged bear who really needed to update her wardrobe and couldn't resist the lack of sales tax in Oregon or the $3.00 tank tops at Old Navy (want a tank top Noona? I bought enough to clothe a small colorful army).

What's up in the next few weeks? A bunch of appointments and a welcome break before the next holiday. Phew.

Yeah, I couldn't commit to 1600 words a day, at least not with one hand on a keyboard and the other hand on a poopy diaper.

Pictures of me running around naked? Or pictures of the clothes I bought?

No naked pictures.

what if I promised to photoshop a lightsaber into your hand?

Think of the fanboys. They need this.

And I could sell it.

Hmmm... naked lightsaber pictures. What do you think Stink Pants? If it's for the fanboys...
