The gist of it is that three men from Texas are being held for $750,000 for buying cellphones for possible terroris purposes. The men say they were buying cheap phones to re-sell them for a higher price. According to the article here from the local news station, the FBI says the three men are not related to terrorists at all.
All I know is that it happened here in my home town! Our local Walmart! I went there today to buy some stuff (you know, just stuff) and there was a uniformed officer there.
It's just weird. Living here I don't expect anything to happen, and then there it is, my home town on national tv. Weird. On a side note, the last time my home town got any sort of nation attention was about ten years back, when the KKK had a rally here.
