C-Whore goes to Germany

C-Whore left for Germany today (well, yesterday by the time I post this). She's going there to work and study German. She loves Germany and German people. A large part of her family is German. I think one of her dogs might even be German. She'll be gone for a whole year. I was lucky enough to see her last night, as she was packing.

C-Whore is kind of neurotic about her packing (understatement.) I don't want to embarrass her (nor do I want to get beaten down when she gets back), so I'll just say that I teased her about her packing habits and that she didn't find it hilarious, but we had a good time.

Man, I'm gonna miss her. Along with Patlick, she's one of the two people I keep in touch with from highschool. Patlick is on the reunion committee for our class, and our five year reunion is coming up in July. C-Whore and I had plans to do a drive-by with paintball guns, 'cause we're not bitter or anything. I can't drive and hold a paintball gun at the same time, and Patlick won't come with me because she's on the frickin' committee, so now I'm wondering if I should actually go. If it were free, I'd definitely go, because I have a lot more self-confidence than I did eight years ago, I look damn good, and free food is always good, but a ticket costs fifteen dollars! I don't think I can eat fifteen dollars worth of food, even expensive buffets top out at twelve dollars. I'll probably end up going though, because Patlick can pretty persuasive.

Anyway, before I went to C-Whore's house, I burned some pictures from our "Patlick in Pittsburgh" trip to a CD (I have to remember to make one for Patlick). I hope she enjoys it. I added some pretty pictures of us three, and some dumb close-ups. She can show it to the family she'll be staying with and say, "These's are my dumb friends. Aren't they pretty?"

With Patlick in Pittsburgh and C-Whore in Germany, who am I supposed to hang out with and make fun of old classmates with? A lot of anecdotes from school are much funnier if you were there (much like the dialogue between my mom and I regarding the missing earplugs). Well, I guess it's not like we're completely cut off from each other. There's the telephone (although that could get expensive) and there's the Internet (if they even have the Internet in Germany. Who knows how those crazy Germans communicate with each other. They're like, in a different country or something.)

Well, I'm sure C-Whore will email Patlick and I. I just have to remember to email her back. Oh! We can write letters too! Hurray for letters!

C-Whore, I hope you have a great time in Germany, and expect a letter from me in the mail (I might even get ambitious and send a package.) Patlick, I'll see you when you come home to see your brother graduate.
