Stuff my Parents say

My mom got back today after her five day escapade with her china painting buddies.

Dad: (As he opens his mail) How was your trip?

Mom: Oh, pretty good, driving Miss Gladys. [Gladys is the painting teacher.] Dad, did you know that on Memorial Day weekend, there are Open Houses all over Vermont?

Dad: All the houses are open?

Mom: No! I mean all the galleries and craft stores have open houses. All over Vermont it's like that on Memorial Day weekend.

Dad: Oh. (Dad continues opening mail and Mom walks off shaking her head and muttering in Tagalog.)
