It's another lazy Saturday. Mom and Laura are laying on their respective couches in the DVD room, still in the clothes they woke up in. The DVDs of choice this weekend are "Foyle's War," a series sometimes shown on PBS. It's actually pretty good if you like British mysteries that take place during WWI. It's like Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, Maigret, that sort of thing. After finishing one episode, Laura puts in another one.
Mom: (rubbing her right eye, the one with the surgery.) My eye is blurry. This one is fine, but this one is blurry.
Laura: Should I stop the movie?
Mom: No, it's okay. (Two hours later, Mom and Laura finish the second movie.)
Laura: Should I put in another one?
Mom: No, I have to rest my eyes. (Laura nods.)
Laura: Want to rest your eyes while we're watching TV?
Mom: Okay. (Together, they move to the TV room and sit down.)
