Okay, so I'm drunk now. It's about 1:30 a.m. and I just got back from the Capri (a local restaurant) where they now have Wednesday Night Kareoke! If you sing, you can get Pucker shots for $1.00! Needless to say, I drank a lot of Sour Apple Pucker tonight. It's a good thing the Capri is close to my house, because I'm still a little tipsy.
It all started when the director of my play called me Monday.

Chris T: Hey Laura? What are you doing Wednesday night?
Laura: Uh...hanging out with you?
Chris T: Good answer.

Fast forward to today. I got there and the place was packed. There weren't even places for everyone to sit. It started slow, most people didn't want to sing. By the end of the night though, the whole bar was singing at the top of their lungs.
There was this one guy, Ken, who is in the play I'm in. He refused to sing, but after a lot of pleading and whining on my part, I got him to sing "King of the Road." Hurray!
I sang three solos and a number of other songs with my friends. I know I sang "Downtown" and "It Had to Be You" but I can't remember the third song! It's driving me crazy. Blah.
Kareoke is so fun. I'm definitely having it at my wedding. I'd better get some Tagalog songs for my family.
