In The News: Filipino Children break World Tooth Brushing Record.

What else brings 11,000 Filipinos together, other than Lovapalooza?

10,800 Filipino Children Brushing their Teeth

So apparently Filipinos in the Philippines don't have the best dental hygiene.

Remember this post here about false teeth for policemen? (the link to the Yahoo News story doesn't work anymore though.) Well, hopefully some of these children practicing good dental hygiene will be policemen some day. To curb the almost inevitable tooth decay that comes from eating sweet Filipino food (lecheplan...) they're brushing their teeth and breaking records! They broke the Guinness record set by the Chinese in 2003. Hey, it's no gold medal, but at least the kids are learning about keeeping their teeth clean. It's not for the toothpaste sponsor, it's for the children.
