Hoochie Momma in Paris

I had the opportunity to spend two years in France. Did I take it? Nope, because I'm getting married to the biggest whiner in the world, Stink Pants #5.

Apparently, after being separated by 500 miles for a year...
500 miles

then 2300 miles for another year...
2300 miles

Stink Pants didn't want to bump it up and make it over 4000 miles of separation (which would've shattered our previous record).
but he wouldn't walk 4000 miles, and he wouldn't walk 4000 more
this map was made with bitmap magic

So, no France for me.

However... Hoochie Momma, the Professor, Roar and Meow have moved to France!

You may remember this family from such posts as And the Llama Ran, He Ran So Far Away and Christmas Picture cut and Paste. For more about my exploits as a nanny at the Llama house, please look at the archives from September 2005 to December 2005.

Now that the Professor branch of the G-Clan is in the city of light and love, we'll hopefully get to hear about all sorts of "American in Paris" craziness and particularly American babies in Paris.

How will we get to hear about it? Well...

Hoochie Momma has a blog!
The first post is particularly good, especially at the end :) Leave comments there too. I know they're living in an English-speaking part of Paris, but I'm sure they'll like to hear words from home too :)

Magi (the Running Llama) is dead. Yup, I walked out to the barn two days before we were leaving for Paris and there he was....or wasn't. Not much left of him. I think a pack of coyotes had a feast.

Oh, and by the way, there is no “English-speaking part of Paris", unless you are talking about the space dedicated to our 142 sq meter flat in the 7th. Yes, there are bilingual people here as we are close to the Tour Eiffel and there are tourists and expats like us, but the predominate language is still French, of course. After all, we are in France.

Paris! Very nice. My wife loves the city and she'll be more than excited to hear about this. Will there be pictures?

Nooo! I put my arm around that llama's poo-stained neck :( Poor Magi. Well... at least he went out fighting... or running... but I prefer to think he went out fighting.

Are the rest of the llamas okay?
