Doctors discuss surgery for baby with 3 arms

May 30, 2006 - In Shanghai, China, there is a two-month old baby with two left arms. Doctors are having trouble deciding which is the dominant left arm, since both arms are well developed. I wonder what will happen if the baby happens to be able to use both arms equally well. Maybe they'll leave 'em on and he'll be a virtuoso at the piano or pipe organ!
