For the past two days, I've been walking around the house with my laptop attached to my hands. I've spent the last twenty-four hours downloading programs like Winzip, Trillian, IrfanView, and countless Sims objects. I've also transferred pictures from my camera, jump drive and CD's so I can have them if I need them. Not only that, but I've been talking to people that I haven't talked to in a while (or have never actually talked to, in Clay's case) because I didn't want to download a ton of instant message programs on my parents' machine. Now that I have a portable machine of my own, I'm IM crazy.
Oh, if anyone remembers my ICQ number, could I have that please? I can't find myself on the ICQ website and I don't want to sign up for a new one, because I think my old number has eight digits in it (call it nerd arrogance).
Plus, now that Stink Pants #5 has a cellphone, we've been calling and text messaging each other like crazy. I hardly ever used the text message thingy on my phone, and now I can't go a day without using it. Crazy!
So now there are a ton of different ways to get hold of me, if anyone needs to. You can always leave a message here on the blog too.
